Well once again I'm having trouble with my replacement ET-732. The the food and BBQ temp work fine on the transmitter but after about 5-10 min on the receiver it flat lines and just beeps. I have to take it over to the transmitter and hold it until the temp shows back up. After I do that it flat lines and starts beeping again after about 5 min. It does this even if I leave the remote sitting by the transmitter. I changed batteries, Got a new one, turned my phone off so there is nothing interrupting the signal. Can anyone please help? Or do I just need to throw it away and find another brand?
 
Sorry to hear about that. Most have a love /hate relationship with that brand. Mine was a good one and it worked great for many years but now I rarely use it. I would call Maverick and pitch a ***** with CS, they should make it right!

Every time I use it want to do that but when I called CS they where so good and sent a replacement right away. I guess I'll look into a different kind. Any suggestions? I have a food probe from Walmart that works great but it doesn't help with grill temp.
 
I posted a similiar problem but not quite as bad a few weeks ago. Mine started the flatline stuff after hours into a cook and each time I reset it would do it again. Finally, I just let it cool off, turned it off, restarted, and it performed fine after that. Have used many times since with no problems......................d

AFAIK that's the only dual probe on the market. Maybe some one else will do a drive-by and add to this.

David, the 2 that I have had have never worked correctly. It flatlines and beeps about 10 minutes or so after I hook it up and usually about every 5 after that.

Dwain, if I use the one for the iPhone will I still be able to play my music on my phone? I have a wireless speaker that goes to my iPhone cause I got to have a little Hank or The Hag going while I'm grillin.

Thanks to everybody on here. Love this site. My wife ask me every night how my BBQ friends are doing.
