How do ya'all clean your Maverick probes?

Very carefully, I try not to get the meat probe wet as I've heard this can cause problems.

I put mine in a plastic cup filled with water and Dawn dishwashing soap and let them soak. I stand em on end so they don't get wet where the wire meets the probe. Admittedly, the last inch or so does not get clean, but my probes seems to last longer this way and the part that goes into the meat is good and clean.

Small piece of damp scotch-brite vigorously rubbed up and down the probe. 10 seconds max.

As J. Ray says, the last inch after the bend doesn't get cleaned.

In my experience I rinse it carefully under ot water and scrape it. The probes are oriented with the wire down and the metal probe up.
In this way no way the water goes in.
After, I immediately tap dry with paper towel

I use the Igrill2 but I do pretty much the same as Tony, just a light scrub.

A cotton rag and Isopropyl alcohol. Still look little black but as clean as they need to be.
