Maverick ET-72 vs Maverick ET-73

I've noticed alot of posts on the ET-73 but none on the ET-72 , is the ET-72 out dated already ? Anybody have the pros and cons on these models , and how long do they last and how good is that 100 ft range ?

The ET-73 is of more interest in this forum because it is a dual probe unit-- one for the meat, and one with a hi/lo alarm for the smoker temp. The ET-72 is not outdated, just aimed at a different user.

I believe the ET-72 has only one probe.
