Master Touch available in Europe

I understand that Europe gets all the fun colors and there is nothing we can do about it, but when I was checking out the grills on the European sites Weber is selling a Master Touch. I really like being able to just slide the lid off into the Tuck Away lid holder on my performer and would love this on my other grills.

Why is this grill not available in the states?

Never mind the grill I would like to see some of the colours and there accessories available over here but it's not going to happen
 
Odd...they have a kettle lid holder as an accessory. Do they have like a heat shield by the handle? I guess we don't need that in the US.
 
My guess is MT's are no longer sold in US market due to liability concerns. Kettles are relatively light and a good gust of wind with the lid in the bale could cause the grill to tip over.
