MangoTango Pork Chops

Recipe taken from "Weber's Big Book Of Grilling" (p.185) I did sub the Mango juice with Orange juice and did not serve with black beans and/or rice... I did, however, serve with grilled Garnet Yams. Sliced em length-wise then EVOO'd and seasoned em with Penzey's Old World seasoning.

Tossed the Garnet's and a few halved vidalias on the BurgOTS... then added the marinated chops.

Things were sizzlin' fine... so the cork was undone on a bottle of Toscolo Chianti (Tuscan boy). A nice wine

Try it if you find it.
Steamed beans of green were also added to the plate of pork and potatoes...

A fine recipe again from Weber's Big Book, and the best thing is I got it from eBay for .99 cents (plus 3.95 shipping) Still, a great deal!

Ironic. I have every cookbook Weber's published...and just bookmarked that recipe to be done in the immediate future. Looks fabulous. Can't wait to try it myself.

BTW, LOVE red garnet yams. They have them at Whole Foods all the time. Simply fabulous. Love the idea of cutting them length wise instead of making rounds.
