Yea, but they're not the kind of neighbors you borrow stuff from; quite frankly, I only know the first names of two of my neighbors (households), just not a real friendly neighborhood, everyone pretty much keeps to themselves, no block parties etc.

Come and move next/near me I will cut it up for you on the bandsaw in 2 seconds and then we can burn some meat. Though it might cost a bit to move to Australia. Sorry you don't have friendly neighbours.

Actually the neighbor thing goes both ways, we don't really go out of our way either. We wave and say hello in passing but that's pretty much the extent of it.

Based on what I see in the pictures the hatchet camp axe should work fine. That what I use all the time to break down the bigger chunks that I have. I also use a line hammer and a splitting wedge on some of the bigger stuff.

But there was a guy with a similar situation as yours.
He recommended this.
