Mahi Mahi

Grilled up some fish tonight; salmon for my wife, mahi mahi for me. I'm not a huge fish fan but this was pretty good.

Fish, marinated in a oil, lemon juice and fennel marinade for an hour. On direct skin side up.

Flipped to skin side down, indirect after 3 minutes or so.

After 15 minutes covered and indirect.

Plated with some store bought artichoke, onion and pepper salad.

Pretty good...I'd eat this again.

My O' My on the Mahi Mahi & Salmon!
Looks great Don, even though I'm not big on grilled fish.
I normally like my fish battered, and deep fried, but I'd dig into some of that!!

Looks great - what did you mix together for the fennel marinade? </div></BLOCKQUOTE>

My wife made it. I just emailed her for the recipe and this was her response,
<BLOCKQUOTE class="ip-ubbcode-quote"><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-title">quote:</div><div class="ip-ubbcode-quote-content">"I just made it up.

½ cup olive oil
¼ cup lemon juice
1 T of whole fennel seeds ground up in the spice grinder (not sure what it equals once it is ground)
Salt & Pepper to taste.

Once I make it I taste it. If it needs more of anything then I add it."

Hope this helps!
