Lower Grate Support WSM 22

Unfortunately, when you get a 22" WSM you quickly discover that the charcoal grate, when set in place, rests on top of the small tabs for the three vents. You can actually try to close the tabs, and have them re-open slightly because of the grate resting on the "tabs".

On my old Weber Gasser I had stainless steel hooks for hanging BBQ tools. I cut and drilled them, and now have stainless steel supports for the grate. No drilling required, they go right onto the upper holes from leg attach bolts.

G Force for the price of the 22 i would call weber and ask for the bottom bowl to be replaced with the up graded one Curt is talking about should be no problem i would think.
