Lobster tails

A few years ago my wife and I ate dinner at a top notch place on the NJ shore. They had lobster tails that were mesquite smoked/grilled and they were amazing. Best I have ever had. They were moist and succulent with great flavor. I purchased 2 one pound cold water lobster tails today and I am going to cook them on the smoker. I have a plan on how I am going to cook them but I was wondering if anyone has ever done lobster and if they might share some tips.

I remember when Rath made these. He loved them. Link to tail recipe for you.
Greg, FYI. This will prob get moved to the recipe reqests forum.

So, in Rath's recipe did he cook them indirect or direct? </div></BLOCKQUOTE> Yeah he left that part out. I had sent Don C (Rath) an email back then about wether he cooked them direct orindirect and he cooked them direct. The tails sit on top of the shells so no chance of them burning.
