S Scooter B TVWBB Pro Jan 24, 2012 #21 Personally I find the side burner on my gas grill to be perfect. Especially with lump charcoal I can usually get going in only a few minutes. When I don't have that option i find papertowel soaked with a bit of vegetable oil.
