What size are nuts that attach the right and left end pieces to the lid?

Embedded ones. Are they not the same size?

The embedded casted ones have some weird thread. You need to use a the 1/4 self cutting nuts. The old lid sides with the standalone bolts use machine bolt threads of 1/4 20.
