Good morning! I'm wondering if you can help me with rebuilding this. I took mine apart and luke a dummy didn't really look how the spring attached internally. I assume one hook goes on the threaded rod at the top and the other goes around the internal bar? Attach one end of the spring to the threaded bar first, then attach it to the correct one inside the scale. The problem is that I remember there are two bars inside the tank scale, only one is the right one. I also remember needing a pair of needle nose pliers to pull the spring over the bar. Edit: I went back and looked at my picture and you can tell how it should go if you hold your tank scale in the same orientation.Good morning! I'm wondering if you can help me with rebuilding this. Thanks! I just joined the forum, restoring a 1989 Genesis 2 redhead and I had no idea this community existed, just lurking I can tell everyone in here is so dang helpful! It couldn't hurt since you have to recalibrate it for accuracy once it's put back together.Great job and detailing Steve. I'm sure the scale reflects better accurately too.
