I knew I would be trying Len's microwave potato chips soon.
Today was the day.

One medium red, sliced thin on a mandoline.
Fresh ground pepper, and Maldon salt on evoo'd slices.

Didn't use the thinnest adjustment, so these took 6 minutes at full power.

Brooke and I thought they were great!

Crunchy, and better than many fresh bar and grill chips that I've had.

Next time I'll try soaking the sliced spuds in cold water to remove some starch, dry well, and proceed from there.
Also, I'll use fine sea salt, or K salt, since the Maldon made them a bit too salty.

Bob, you still wearin' your bedroom slippas??!!

Looks GREAT! Gonna Try This After These Doorpeople Leave!

Bob - I think soaking them will help. I've been cutting french fries @ home for a while now, and soaking them for an hour or up to overnight really helps them get crispy when cooking.

Those look very good just as they are.

Thanks guys!

Jim,
You're just jealous of my moccies

The flip flops are put away since the cool weather returned.

I eat my own weight in Chips during a year. This looks good but almost to healthy
