Length of time for a rub on meat - added an extra day!

I usually put my rub on pork butt and brisket about 24 hours before smoking. This time, I got my days mixed up and did it a day early, so it will be 48 hours in advance. I don't think that it will matter much, but I haven't done it this way before!
