I'm smoking a shoulder for dinner tonight. Tomorrow for new years I'm having some people over and I'm looking for ideas to use the left over pulled pork. Not a sit down meal, just some munchies. I'm going to do mini taqauitos. Any other thoughts?
PP appetizers? I've been thinking about dicing it and trying it in a cream cheese spread/dip or cheese ball with white cheddar. Small amounts of fresh green onions, jalapeno or habanero peppers, garlic and cilantro, touch of lime, bit of cumin & oregano??
Looking forward to seeing what the gang comes up with on this one. I like to throw PP in a pot of sauerkraut but that's hardly an appetizer.
Throw on some chicken under your pork and make Mac's Mom's Brunswick Stew (scroll down the thread). It's a super version. Mine was a little thick, but I thinned it down (not much) to our taste. It's almost time to make some more. Mmmmm!
