I got both of these last weekend. The black one is a 26.75 one touch from 1986, and the red is a 22.5 from 1979. Both are pretty good shape. The 26.75 was missing all the handles and the legs were a little loose. I got three new handles from Ace hardware, and I replaced the legs with new ones I had in the shed. This grill was posted here a few weeks back, http://tvwbb.com/eve/forums/a/...0026584/m/1061009426
someone said they didn't like it but I figured I would take a chance and I feel like it really paid off, I have used it three times this week.

The red grill was listed on CL as a Webber so on a whim I searched that and found it. There are a few chips but I'm going to touch it up and see how it comes out.

As you can see Phoebe my basset loves the new additions too, and she loves to help me clean them.

Hi Brian,
I'm the guy that didn't like it enough to buy it. I can't put my finger on the reason why, it just didn't speak to me I guess.

I'm happy to hear that you did like it and that it found a good home.

Just needed a little TLC, it was a little loose but some fresh legs made it tight, I wanted it for an everyday cooker, it wasn't much for a collector piece. I have to say I was pretty happy to get it. I think I cooked on it five times already! I owe you a beer can chicken for passing this one up :^)

Nice finds! But, I'm not so sure how excited Phoebe looks. Maybe that's just basset excitement.

Oh believe me that is real excitement for her. The only time she gets more excited is when I accidentally leave the grill grate leaning against the grill and she tries to lick it! :^)
