Knob Markers - is this normal?

I just received my E-340 LX and noticed all the knob Markers have these weird texture/bumps on them. Is this normal? I'm afraid it will get worst and peel over time.

If not, should i contact the seller or weber? I had the grill preassembled and delivered.

I guess I wouldn't worry about it until it did start to peel. You have a warranty. Also, you could go back to the store to see if the other grills are the same.

Good advice! I suspect is just the way it is...

Thanks, and sorry for such a noob post. It's a big purchase and I guess I was just being nit-picky.

Another user informed me their same grill has the same marker finish, so it's all good.

Yah, no biggy. I would be worried about a flaw if I had just dropped $700 plus on a new grill.
