I'm guessing Neal O'Brian will take a shot at this one.
I have an 18" brunette that I picked up a couple of years ago and I never use it because it's just too nice. It's kept uncovered in a dry, unheated garage with a dirt floor so it gets quite dusty and is exposed to temperature changes, but is otherwise pretty sheltered although I don't have an actual cover on it because I don't want to trap moisture or invite rodents.
In this situation is it going to stay in basically like-new condition if I wax it and then dust it off every so often?
