Last night in the local sears store on clearance where Kenmore Rib Racks $5.99 ish about half normal price, per the tag.

I"m not a big Rib cooker, but wondering if there are some other uses for Rib Racks ??

Any thoughts comments ideas etc. appreciated.

John, when I bought a ECB a couple years ago,I went wild and bought a bunch of BBQ gadgets, including a rib rack. The rack sits in a drawer, pretty much unused. Since getting my WSM,I'm a big fan of rolling the racks of ribs. I think I'm gonna sell the rack at the next yard sale I have.

I passed on buying the rib rack last night waitiong to see what response i would get from this weber forum.

Like I said I don't cook a lot of ribs because most of the family aren't big rib eaters.

I was thinking maybe the rack might have some value for cooking whole chicken legs (leg qtrs) or something else.

I've used one of my racks for quarters and it works fine.

I rolled and skewered ribs for years, and finally got a couple of rib racks. I love 'em. It doesn't "make or break" my ability to cook ribs, but for a couple of bucks, they're good to have around. For that price, buy them and try them. If you like the racks, great, if not, don't use them. At that price, it won't hurt either way.
