Just picked up this bad boy


 
Yes it came with the lava rocks and ceramic logs no cover is there a certain way to arrange the logs? And I got it dirt cheap for $40!

No, just kind of arrange them in a random natural pattern. After you light it, you might be better able to figure out how to arrange them.

Great price. I got mine for $50 and they are being sold for $250-$325 in the Northeast. There are old posts in this forum that list the Amazon sites with decent covers. Note you will get something close but not a perfect fit. The original covers are literally like unicorns.....they don't exist.

Congratulations on a great find. I've got a NG version and the maintenance is pretty much the same as the LP version. I had looked for a NG version for a couple of years before striking gold. I got a cover that fits pretty well on Amazon. It is:

Classic Accessories 72952 Veranda Water-Resistant 35.5 Inch Stand-Up Fire Pit Cover,Pebble,NO SIZE​
