Just made a trip to Sams

Meat dept was well stocked with " reasonable " prices , considering what we've seen.

I bought some choice strip steaks for $11 per pound. Had some nice looking prime brisket at $4.78 .

Spare ribs .......... 2 forty something , pork butt , around a dollar fifty. Baby Backs at around four fifty. I bought a four pak of pork tenderloin at $2.62.

Not really bad. But best thing is they were well stocked.

Today the Costco in South St. Louis County had pork butt for $1.99/lb and, which really has me excited, they had beef plate/short ribs for $5.99/lb!

Here in Prescott AZ the nearest Sam's is like 90 to 100 miles away but Cosco is close but I am not a member at this time.

You can also simply go to the service desk and ask for a guest shopping card. I don't know if it's free or a small fee. But, thing is I have the Costco Executive membership with credit card and the Sam's Club (elite? with CC). In both cases the rewards I get back MORE than pay for the cost of my memberships. In the case of Sam's even enough to cover my daughter's membership
