Jumbo Joe Steak & Potatoes

It's too big for the plate! Great grill marks and char. I hope you enjoyed that one.
We watch an episode of Top Chef tonight and it was a steak challenge and they all bombed it because they got too fancy, the judges wanted to see food like your! That is what a steak should look like!

I don’t recall the last time I cooked up a bone in ribeye. I need to fix that, stat!

Really nice dinner you made here. I’m sure you enjoyed it fully.
I really enjoy a filet mignon and try to cook it appropriately, but my favorite cut of steak is a porterhouse followed closely by a T-bone. I just don't really enjoy a steak that doesn't have a bone it. It's the same for pork chops, bone in please!

Using a small plate to make your meat look bigger is a pro move! ;)

Seriously good looking steak & taters! I bet that was delicious!

I haven't used my JJ since this post.
- my SNS charcoal basket is still half full with leftover Kingsford briquettes.
- it takes a full mini Weber chimney to completely fill the basket
- so it took half a mini Weber chimney to cook a Ribeye and country potatoes (maybe a little less because I had buried a wood chunk)

I will use the other half to cook chicken sandwiches for the Chiefs game and lunch tomorrow. Go Chiefs!
