Judging at Silicon Valley BBQ Championships June 25

I'll be judging barbecue tomorrow, Saturday June 25, at the 5th Annual Silicon Valley BBQ Championships at Central Park in Santa Clara, CA. It's a great event sponsored by the Rotary Club, with lots of People's Choice barbecue to sample, lots of beer/wine/margaritas to drink, kid's play zone, live entertainment, food booths, vendor booths, and more.

You don't need a ticket to attend, just show up and have fun! Hope you'll stop by if you can!

Congratulations to TVWBB member Vincent Carrocci and Alexa of Rhythm 'N Que for winning GC at the Silicon Valley BBQ Championships yesterday! It was deja vu all over again...they did the same thing in 2014!

Thanks Chris! It was a thrill to win that contest again and it was career Grand Championship number 30! (All of them won with WSMs too!)

We ran one 22" WSM and three 18" WSMs this time around, all under the watchful eye of our Stoker II WiFi system.

Sorry we missed you this time around but I hope you enjoyed your judging experience as much as we enjoyed our cooking experience!
