Since Jim Lampe has been cookin' up some STL pork steaks, I decided to break in my "Smokey Jim Silver" with a Raymond, WI cook.

First, got to show off my $4 find, an Ironwood Gourmet Memphis Pyramid cutting board, brand new from Goodwill. Sells on Amazon for $99

First fire, lump, and a Weber cube starter.

Piekutowski's smoked polish sausage, jalapeno, and onion on the shiny new grate:

Plated with Marconi Bakery bread from the "Hill" (Italian neighborhood in STL) and some pale tomatoes:

First time eating this sausage, it was spicy and tasty!
Oh Mama! the pepper was a hot one

Thanks for viewing my lunch cook!

Bob, where's the Miller High Life? You cannot eet Wisconsin without at least one MHL.

It does look very good however...
(how come the tomatoes weren't grilled)
Love that 4 dolla cuttin'board!

Thanks Jim!
Not sure they sell Miller here

and if I started drinkin' brews at lunch I'd need an hour nap instead of a half!

As for grilled tomatoes, just don't like 'em that way.

Nice lunch.

How come all the Italian neighborhoods are "The Hill"? Same in Providence, RI...

That looks really really good!!! I think my Smokey Joe needs to be cooked on again soon, it's been awhile......
