JD Woodchips

Anyone use the Jack Daniels woodchips? I saw them the other day and am curious how they are. I like oak and have used wine soaked oak chips before and liked them.

I used them a few times. I haven't finished the bag yet. They are good but prefer just to add a chunk of oak instead.

I have used the Jack Daniels pellets, and would not buy them again.
Mesquite or apple or hickory seem better to me.

I'm with Tony. I have a bag,and they add a nice flavor to the meat,but I don't know if I'd buy more. But they smell amazing when you open the bag!

Don't know about these, but bourbon barrel chunks are fun and do impart flavor into the meat. Some kinds will almost produce intoxicating smoke.

I've never tried the chip's but i use there slat's in alot of my cook's & really like them nice smoke taste from them

The chips are nice for grilling applications. Friends enjoy smelling the bag. lol
Ive only used one bag, but I wouldn't mind having more.
