Jack Daniels Wood Chips


 
Never have used the JD chips and won't use any type of wood chip. I only use wood chunks, chips burn to fast and give off a dirtier smoke when they are burning. I like to bury wood chunks in with the briquettes to get a long and clean smoke from the wood I'm using be it on the WSM or the Kettle.

I bought a bag of these a few years ago. Used them on a tri-tip and they gave it kind of a weird flavor. Not bad just different than what I'm used to. After that I just used them in small amounts in combination with other wood types. When they finally ran out I didn't buy another bag.
