Cleaned the GreenOTG for tonight's grillin'...
Cut-up a whole Tower Chicken Farm roaster and seasoned it with Blues Hog rub. Found a foot long "Hayden McCall" red garnet yam and stuck it in the "corner" of the OTG
"Jack and Christopher" were blended, heated then, during the last 20 or so minutes of grillin', the chicken was doused with this heavenly sauce. (a lil' roasted garlic also included in the sauce
) i
garlic!
Liz steamed some asparagus while I sliced up the "classic yam".
Jack combined with the Stubb's sauce gave the chicken a smoky, oaky hint of flavour. And the garlic did well. The asparagus and sliced yams were finely seasoned with Blues Hog rub (yes, I love BHR too!)
Sometimes ya gotta sauce up the grilled chicken the way my Uncle Richie used to do it way "up nort" in Pulaski, The Polka Capital of the World!
Thank you for viewing, enjoy the remainder of this fine evening!
