Well, about half the year we wouldn't be able to use it due to fire restrictions, and the other half the year because the rain would put the fire out. I figure we'd get about 4 days of use out of something like that.
 
Great project! Wish I was your neighbor - I've been thinking about a gazebo type setup for my yard... it's not as high on the wife's priority list as it is mine, unfortunately for me.
