Italian Sausage and Beer Peppers

Took a page from many of you to improve on my sausage and peppers. Inspired by Bill's Italian heritage, http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?55733-Now-for-my-Italian-Heritage&highlight=beer+sausage and ChuckO's Beer Brats http://tvwbb.com/showthread.php?53208-Beer-brats&highlight=beer+sausage and doing it my own way with what I had available.

1 bell pepper, big chunk of garlic sliced, jalapenos, and white onion. All covered in italian seasonings and peppers, drenched in beer, and simmering for about 45 minutes. Italian sausage direct for awhile til they're brown. Toasted bread, covered in cheese and back on the grill to all melt together. The sausage was free from a friend that couldnt use it but the quality of sausage is not that great. Not a whole lot of flavor so the toppings had to help it out. Hope you enjoy pics.

My peppers and onions are getting better, and I think they'd be good on the side of a stir fry or rice as a side. The sandwiches are alright, but having more fun playing with new way to cook things.

That is a great looking sandwich and I'll take one of them. Just have fun with your grilling and you will learn a lot.
We have some great cooks on the forum and we all learn from each other.

Nice use of sandwich bread to make a good sausage sandwich. I usually use tortillas but I might try that technique next.

Those look fantastic! My problem is, when I cook sausages, they never make it to the sandwich, they just get eaten, LOL
