It’s 105° outside. What to cook for dinner?

Don't cook! Get delivery......
We went to local taqueria. As always, food was excellent. Great people and ownership there. And they asked for more of my habanero salsa verde. I bring a batch in to them every time I make some.

Getting a break today in the great Midwest, only 95 & feels like 99. Forecast for the next 10 days is +103-106. Kept it simple tonight.
Going to have to buy some leg quarters now. Put them on some sticks and go over some lump. Yours look great. Thanks for the pic share and inspiration.

Your salsa must be amazing if the restaurant wants you to bring them some!! Maybe a recipe in the future?

Fish tacos for me. It's going to be quite warm (93* and humid) here, but a quick grill of cod and otherwise easy prep is attractive. I may add some stuffed jalapenos since I have them and I'm going to be experimenting with Kevin Krueger's jerk seasoning. Should be fun.

My mom dropped off a really nice pork chop dinner complete with a cake for desert.
I also ate a bunch of popsicles until I went to sleep.

It's pretty dang hot in south Texas. Wife made some bao with leftover teriyaki pork loin(kinders marinade) and some fried rice. I miss my smokers but it's just not pleasant. IMG20220717190743.jpg
