Issue with TelTru Thermometer

The glow in the dark thermometer was installed in my 18" WSM in 2007 and has worked well. When not in use the WSM was stored indoors yet now there is condensation on the interior side of the lens of the thermometer. How do I chase away that condensation????

If you just run the pit it should heat up enough to get rid of that. It's pretty normal.

For the past several runs I've smoked bacon at approx 150-175F for around 4-5 hours to no avail. Maybe I need to run the WSM at full throttle, at 235-250F.

Yes, it probably needs to be over the boiling point.
