Ok.. for those of you in the Boston area, you know about our roast beef sammies. Warmed thinly sliced beef piled high on a large onion roll, with some American cheese and a healthy squirt of this tangy BBQ sauce like nothing in your typical grocery store.
Some research has led me to the fact that it's actually James River BBQ Sauce.
Have any of you Boston area folks seen in the the local markets? Especially in the MA/RI neck of the woods? Or even better, anyone have a copycat type recipe for this. I'm about 45 miles south of the good sandwiches and would love to make my own, but it's the sauce that makes it special. Thanks.
