Introduction, and a tale about buying a Genesis EP-330

I was planning on posting pics of the C once I cleaned it up, but since I've already described the abuse I've given it, what the heck.
Ladies and gentlemen - here's my baby.....

FYI - the grease spots on the left table are from a couple hot sausages I cooked last weekend. I put them on the grill, started working on something, and forgot about them. When I remembered, I ran to the grill to get them off.
I was hoping they'd still be edible, but they were just black chunks of their former selves. I quickly yanked them off the grill and tossed them on the table.

I don't have Weberitis (yet), but since I need a natural gas manifold for the 330, I've done a fair amount of searching for Weber parts.
As luck would have it, I found true natural gas 330 that was listed for $40. The down side is it's 2 hours away from me.
I ended up getting it, paid $30 for it, but with gas it cost me $70 and about 4.5 hours of driving.
I have both the manifold and the 2 casters I needed, so I think it was worth it.
The floor panel is rusted on the left side though. If I want to use it, I'll have cut a piece of 16 gauge steel and weld it over the rusted area.
The pic of the valves shows the LP valve(s) in the green 330 vs the NG valve(s) in the black 330.

The first two pics are from the listing on FB, and that's what it looked like when I picked it up. I took gloves and trash bags with me and cleaned it out on the street in front of their house before loading it in the back of my SUV.

EDIT - also note no regulator on the gas line. The hose is 1/2" vs 3/8" on the green conversion. I doubt hose size makes much difference though.

I took the bottom pan off the frame tonight. I don't know if it's worth using. Probably have to tack a piece of angle iron on it to make it strong enough. But the vents are pretty rusty too. I might be better off just covering the LP pan with sheet metal and painting it to match.
