In previous years, I've been wanting to head down to the Big apple block party BBQ... however with crowds like they were last year, I figured I'd just bust out my WSM and do my own cue. Shorter lines. I like to think of my backyard as the "second stage" of the block party...
 
Oh man I've got a sweet tooth now!

I actually know that team from Smoki O's in St. Louis. I used to head downtown for that stuff all the time when I lived in St. Louis. Good stuff, although I think my ribs are better

I was so tempted to go to this event, but the family and I decided to soak up a beach in Cape May, NJ. Had a good time, but I am still kicking myself for not taking I-95 to this Block Party.
