they keep shipping the replacement bowls with the handle right up against the side of the box. the finish gets popped off on the inside of the bowl behind the handle. lid # 2 arrived unscathed. im still using the originals that were damaged so im not going without. i still love weber and their grills but wow this is getting old.
 
wow, that stinks, hope they get ya taken care of soon

hey, if you are getting to keep the 26 bowls maybe you could make a 26" WSM out of them

that thought has been haunting me since the 1st delivery arrived damaged. it will be costly to have a middle section made. i havent seen a bowl/clay saucer that big either. bending some metal for straps on the inside and legs will be the easiest part. i have a 22 so its not an immediate need but its a nice visual image. a lady at weber said to use it as a planter for flowers. ha

now thats an outstanding idea. thanks chris. i usually look on craigslist every day hoping for a performer. a 22 ots wont be hard to find
