I still have a Genesis 1000 control panel that is brand new. I really should do a restoration that I can use it on. I did have it on a previous restoration but removed it when I sold the grill.

I know, very rare. I would want it only for a personal grill, but then it's almost too nice to use. As Indiana Jones would say - "This artifact belongs in a museum!".

I think I paid $50 for it plus shipping from eBay. It was still sealed in the factory box and the only way I knew what it was is because I had already been searching for one and knew what the part number for it was(It's not the number printed on the control panel itself) At this point I can only see it going on a grill that I would never use. I could also see myself selling it if I got the right offer. We'll see.

He was trying to sell it originally for $2,000 lol. I love the Genesis Juniors more than most people and their value is worth more to me than they are to most people but not this kind of money for this condition.
At least I'm pretty sure it's the same one.

Humor me here, if it was brand new in a box, or assembled and never used what would you give for it?

Considering I already have two Juniors that I have very nicely restored that's definitely a factor in how much I would pay for another. I would still like to pick up a black lid Junior if I come across one or even more red ones but Im happy I have 2 nice ones. I'm not sure how much I would pay for an NOS Junior at this point.

That Broilmaster is a good find. You should grab it if you can! I'm up north in Peoria so it's a ways away from me.
If I brought it home I think the SO would be cooking me on it by dinnertime! It's really cool though, with a little TLC it'd be a nice piece to have.

This stuff works very good at mitigating the "Weber Fade" on the black porcelain on our grills. It doesn't "fix" it, but it essentially hides it. It lasts quite a while too. If you have a grill lid with the fade or a control panel or otherwise and you don't want to have to replace it, this is your friend. It is currently half off and that is a legit discount. I bought some last year for $19.99 a bottle. A single bottle will last for years if you are just using it on one grill.
