I can honestly say that beer butt chicken is AWSOME!!! This is something everyone needs to try! The first bird was consumed in about 15 seconds by 4 hungry people so we put 4 more on the grill /infopop/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif I basted them with italian dressing once every 30 minutes and they were GREAT!! If you have ever thought about trying this.....go for it!
 
yes I agree. Beer can chicken is very good. I always get good results with it.
Did you have anything else in the can besides beer? If not you should try it. It's a good way to season the breast meat all the way thru.

I put beer, minced garlic, onions, and a little bit of whatever rub I use on the chicken in the can. I like the results
