Man, those were a breeze. From opening the boxes to putting the covers on took all of 30 minutes!

I'm pretty sure my middle sections are all 'in-round' due to them not having more than a tiny amount of rocking when on the bowl, but when I took them out of the box and set them on the floor, there was a 1/2" gap between the middle section and the floor on one side. I almost croaked!

I chalked it up to my kitchen floor not being 100% level.

I had seen where someone was sent steel legs when the aluminum ones were bent? Why don't they ship these steel legs w/ the units?

Just curious.

Aluminum is the standard leg material. It's strong, lightweight, and rust resistant.

The steel legs are sort of an anomaly. No one seems to know why they were produced, and I've never heard of anyone receiving them as standard equipment on a new WSM. I've only heard of one person who received them as a replacement when they bent the original legs in an accident.

Regards,
Chris
