What is the best/cheapest way to get this? The old one still works but is is awfully warped and charcoal falls through the ends most of the time. The website says it is 15 1/4 inch diameter. Do stores sell this or do I have to order it?

Thanks Jim,
I have a 18 inch WSM with nylon handles. Maybe 1991 model? Around 10 years old, maybe 11. I do not have a factory thermometer or heat baffle on bottom.

You could just flip it over, if its not warped to bad, or pick up another grate and install it across the other one to form a cross pattern as shown in the operating and mods section.

I got a second grate at HD a couple years back for using lump. I don't remember the cost, but it wasn't much. It also fit down inside the charcoal ring,so that was pretty handy!

That is a good idea Phil! My old one can rest on the tabs and the new one does not have to be the same size! It can be smaller! I have had a hard time finding the right size but this will work!

You need the Weber #7440 charcoal grate. At Amazon, it is $10.79 and free 2 day shipping if you are a prime member.
