Started my smoker last night at 8pm using the Minion Method. Had two butts on by 9pm and lid temp of 250. Checked it at 11pm and it was still right at 250.

I woke up this morning at 7am and the lid was at 248. By 11am, I had the bones falling off of both butts.

We are going to have some great pulled pork for the Vikes game today.

This WSM is amazing! Talk about set it and forget it...
 
It really is surprising how stable the wsm can hold temp. Makes for a pretty good night's sleep. I wish it truely was set it and forget it. For that, you either need a shelter or a guru. I'm trying to decide which one I should get/build. If I had better weather (no wind and rain), I wouldn't worry about getting either. On a calm night, I get several hours of steady temp.
