In my experience, that's not quite true (they eat other feed too, not just grass). I have had Australian beef that is grain fed (not grass) and it does have a very different taste and texture than 'grass fed' cattle.

Here is a slightly different take on grass fed. I have a lifelong friend, who when we were kids about 9 years old would not wrestle or
box with the rest of the guys. So we had the idea to hold him down on the lawn and force him to eat fresh grass. When he had eaten enough
his adrenaline took over and he was an amazing fighter and wrestler. We are still friends 57 years later. Sometimes when we go to a restaurant
we will order grass fed beef for him if he is too slow to make up is mind.....
