Huli Huli Chicken tips?

I want to try cooking Huli Huli Chicken this weekend. Anyone cooked this on the kettle or WSM? How often do you flip and baste the chicken?
 
I do it a lot. I marinade the chicken for up to eight hours but four hours will be fine. When I make the marinade I reserve about a half cup (that's for 4 thighs) for basting on each turn. I turn about every 10-15 minuets and baste until done. Good stuff!

Any difference cooking between the Performer or WSM with high heat?
