Huge gap on access door

Bought a new WSM today. I had to buy the floor model cause they were all out of new in box. I got hell of a deal though for taking floor model (20% off. There is approx 1/8-1/4" gap where access door latches. The whole top side, the 2 sides and bottom fit tight. Can I use a high heat gasket silicone or something to seal that? I eventually want to get IQ110 so will need a tight unit.

You could also run a small bead of RTV silicone sealant. This can withstand temps up to 600 degree F. The RTV would be outside of the cooking chamber so it shouldn't pose a problem. Any autoo parts store would have it.

You could also just bend it back into shape or call Weber customer service and they will send you a new door.
