How much meat can I throw on my 22.5 and cook time

I have only done a few cooks on my 22.5 smokey mountain.

I am toying with the idea of cooking pork butt for pulled pork for a family reunion.

How much meat could I fit on there?

How long would my cook time be?

To get a more informed response how many people are you going to cook for? How many are adults and how many are kids? Cook time depends on the size of the butts and what temp you will cook at.

I think the general consensus is you can easily get 8- 6 lb pork butts, and 6- 8 to 10 lb pork butts on a 22.5" WSM.

In general the more meat you have, the longer the cook time. This is mainly because more meat takes longer to heat, and heats slower than less.
