I've got two 22.5 Kettles going. One low and slow for smoking, the other hot and fast for grilling.
It's 6p and I've been going since about 8a this morning. I've done two pastamis, 13lbs of country ribs and 6 racks of baby backs on the "smoker" and 4 ribeyes, 6 NY strips, 20 hot dobs, 30 brats, 20 boneless chicken breasts and 30 zucchini on the "grill".
I've gone through about a bag and a half of Kingsford blue and 1/4 bag of Stubbs. Is that normal? It seems a little high for me....
I only refresh with pre-lit coals; I don't use "the Monion Method" as I swear I can taste when unlit coals are used.
