How about us football widowers? Miriam hardly moves from her recliner on Saturdays. She's a big fan of Notre Dame and UNR but watches college football from the first kickoff well into Saturday evening, regardless who's playing.

WOW!! That's a new one on me!!!!! I sometimes do wish I liked football, at least enough to watch it with DH. But, being a woman and a mother, it is hard for me to see the beatings those guys sometime take. It is just too rough of a sport for me.

Our daughter follows almost every sport you can think of but doesn't spend hours on end watching them. Although I played football and baseball up until my mid 20s, for the most part, I much prefered playing to watching.

My wife is a huge NFL fan! She's also a big bowling fan....which I can't stand to watch....so I'm a PBA Bowling Widower!
