So I finally took her top, err, cover off. It was a long 3 month wait, and I was a little afraid of what might have been lurking underneath. Guess my worries went unfounded as all that was revealed were two dirty grates and a puddle of grease in the water bowl. I was totally relieved as I thought I might have a big ol' mold cake waiting for me. So what did I do to celebrate? Cleaned off the grates at high heat, relined the water bowl with foil, rubbed a big butt and let it go low and slow overnight. Guess it will be another few months before I see the gal again though. Sigh.
