How do I find good ribs?

I live in Las Vegas, and I can't find ribs like the one's in chis' pictures here at all. It seems like all the ribs I find have things wrong with them. Pork ribs seem like they are all cut too close to the bone, and beef ribs all have meat gouged out of them and it seems like a ripoff. I haven't tried whole foods market or wild oats yet, but if they had something better it would be marked way up. I really want to try ribs but I don't want to buy what I've seen so far. Any suggestions?

If you do not like the ribs that you see in the
stores, have you tried a good butcher shop?

I've just googled a few, but nobody I know knows anything about good meat- I guess I'll have to go look myself.

EDIT:
My father-in-law has a Costco card, I'll have to look those over and see if they are better. i've bought butts and a flat there, but I didn't bother looking at the ribs.

You don't live out in the sticks do you? You got to have some type of butcher close. Try and google meat markets, butchers, pork stores etc.....

The last time I got good ribs in Vegas--been a little while--was at Von's on the NE corner of Sahara and Decatur. I bought spares and they were typical. Trader Joe's supplied the tri-tip (on Decatur and O'Bannon just north). Great olives and pomegranate molasses came from Habib's--his shop next to his restaurant that you can see if you look NW from the Von's door toward the other side of the parking lot. Very convenient to nab everything I needed within a few hundred yards of each other.
