I was reading up on the latest and seems Santa is sick of the same old cookies and has a new taste for the good stuff.....
Just mentioning it, as it may improve on your luck for not getting coal in the stocking.

Indeed, the holiday spirit has erupted here too!
Back when I was a little kid, my grandmother insisted that we put a glass of sherry (the Good stuff) out for Santa! I never got coal once from the big guy!
You know, I still have that very glass, I should leave him a nip of some sort of malt this year!

We always left Santa a bourbon and Coke. Seemed an odd pairing with cookies to me. Since Coke is so bad for you, he just gets bourbon these days.

The 6 year old form that brand is actually a bit sharp, tastes really good I recommend!
