Hola - Hello from Spain

Hi guys,

I'm Paul, a Newbie with weber grills,although i've been grillin since i can remember (with a grill made from an oil barrel that my dad and grandpa built).

I moved to barcelona, Spain 10 years ago and could not carry my old barrel. I've owned several bbq's but last week i found a 1999 red performer :-) (must be the only one in Spain !!!!)

In 3 hours or so i'll start my first grill in a weber ...


I'll try to stick around the forum and try to share my experiences.

Hi Paul, I just joined this forum yesterday. Picked up a lot of good tips so far. I hear they have great beef there.

I've been lurking for a while - Indeed great tips.

Meat is excellent but on the north of spain (Galicia and Asturias), here its not so good, and also the problem is that the cuts are different so its hard to get, for example a decent Brisket.

Welcome Paul! If you're still having trouble finding a cut of brisket over there maybe I could send you some for say a 1/2 lb of Jamón ibérico...
